Welcome to SkateStrong.com !!! This site is still under construction, but here you'll find information about a new skating skills workshop targeted towards recreational and beginner speed skaters that wish to improve their technique. What makes this workshop unique is that I am not charging anything for it! Instead, I am offering this workshop for FREE as a thank-you to anyone that contributes to my fundraising for Tour to Tanglewood (which benefits Multiple Sclerosis Society) or helps recruit others to participate in TTT. Skaters of all levels are welcome to attend... We'll be breaking down the skating technique into its component parts, working on those, and then putting it all back together. If you've attended an Eddy Matzger or Barry Publow workshop, you will have seen many of the drills we'll be doing. Beginner and intermediate skaters will likely see the most benefit from attending, but there will be something for everyone -- even advanced skaters.
